Here are some common questions we receive
We service Toronto, East York, North York, and South Etobicoke. For service outside of these areas additional travel fees will be applicable ranging from $50 and up.
We bill one of two ways
Option 1: Time + Material Cost
Option 2: Flat Fee based on Estimate
Time + Material
This type of pricing is best for repairs, maintenance or long to-do lists with lots of variables.
We charge a visit fee of $99 which includes the first hour (1 hour minimum), and $60 every subsequent hour (rounded up to nearest 15 min). Everything is time tracked by our team using an app, and precise timing is provided to you upon completion of the job.
Flat Fee
We provide estimates for straightforward replacements, installations, and larger projects (above $1000) If unforeseen issues come up, our technicians will always be open and honest with you when circumstances change. You can be assured the price quoted is what you will pay.
Our online and phone estimates are FREE. If you require a quote in person we do have a visit fee of $99. If the job is approved we credit the visit fee towards your final invoice
Yes we provide materials for your job, although depending on the scope of work it may be best that you provide materials.
We prefer to provide construction grade materials in order to ensure the correct products and materials are available on the jobsite, example: drywall, screws, wires, anchors, caulking, piping etc.
We prefer YOU to provide materials which are dependent on client preference such as: curtains, faucets, doors, shelves, light fixtures etc.
Yes we do charge a material handling fee starting from $30 and up. We’ll always provide you with an upfront cost on the material handling fee before moving forward. This fee goes towards the time and cost it takes to source, pickup / drop off these materials.
Our members arrive at job sites with all the required tools.
We hire only the best, most-qualified, and helpful specialists. We then provide our handyman and technician with continued training as part of our Good Measure standards.
We accept email money transfer or credit card payments billed upon completion of our services. We do not accept cash payments.
For all jobs over $1,000 we require a 30% deposit.
Yes we offer services outside our regular business hours (Monday to Friday 9am-6pm). An additional surcharge of $75 / hour on top of our standard rate applies.
We are fully covered by WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) and carry $2 million in general liability insurance
